University of Florida

  • This pattern was introduced to the Touchdown Tableware lineup sometime in the fall of 2008. Project number 14878.
  • It was produced on White and can be found in the following pieces:  jumbo mug (0149), large disk pitcher (0484), and bread tray (0412).
  • Thank you to Wally Haugen for the use of his photo.
  • The illustration to the left shows a Touchdown Tableware sales flier rendition showing the colors they were considering for production (Tangerine, Cobalt and White).
  • Touchdown Tableware advertised a “Soup and Sandwich Combo” set on their website which consisted of the bread tray and jumbo mug.
  • Thank you to Patricia Antion for the use of her flier rendition.
  • This is another case of the small disc pitcher being considered for production and the large pitcher was what was actually produced as illustrated in the HLC rendition to the left.
  • Thank you to Patricia Antion for the use of this rendition.
  • However, there wasn’t any information about an ornament being considered for production, yet there was at least one test piece (actually two that we know of) done as illustrated to the right.
  • Thank you to Denyse Wentland for the use of her photo.

You can find more information about the individual pieces (IE: bread tray) on their specific pages.
