In 1997 Betty Croker™ offered their new “Holiday Collection”. The first pieces offered for sale were: classic rim dinner plate (0466), classic rim luncheon plate (0465), ring handled mug (0453), and ornament (0761).
This ornament was the first of three.

In 1998 they offered the a new design on an ornament for this collection.
In 1999 they added: the third ornamnet in this collection as well as the large pie baker (0487).
In 2001 they added: covered teapot – large with ring handle (0496), medium oval platter 11 5/8″ (0457), bread tray (0412), spoon rest (0439), large dics pitcher (0484), and deep oval bowl (0409).
Fun Fact:
A coffee server was considered, but never put into production. Notice that the decal on the coffee server is the one that is used on the large disc pitcher.
The factory referred to this pattern as Betty C. XMass.
This decal started as a doodle by Judi Nobel, art director at HLC at the time. Betty Crocker™ saw her doodle and loved it and gave them the go ahead.
In ’97 the factory took a few of the designs from within the holiday pattern and sampled some ornaments for Betty Crocker™ to choose from as illustrated below.
