70th Anniversary Items
- In 2006 the Homer Laughlin China Company celebrated their 70th anniversary of producing Fiesta®
- They produced several items to celebrate the occasion.

70th Anniversary Dancing Lady 12″ Baking/Pizza Tray – Pattern No. 5548
- Introduced late summer 2005.
- Discontinued 2006
- This pattern was an exclusive to the Spiegel catalog.
- It was applied to Clear Glazed Fiesta® in the following shapes: 12″ pizza tray (0575).
- Colors in this pattern are: Peacock, Scarlet, Tangerine, Shamrock, Plum, Sunflower and Black.
- You could also purchase a set of 4 luncheon plates (0465) that were boxed as a set and marked on the back, “70th Anniversary, Made Expressly for Spiegel”. The front of the luncheons were not decorated. We are still researching on whether the luncheons were clear glazed or glazed in White.

- A White classic rim dinner plate (0466) was also decorated with the Spiegel design as illustrated below.
- These dinner plates were used by HLC’s food service representative’s showrooms and for trade shows.

- Introduced Fall of 2005.
- Discontinued 2006.
- This large disc pitcher (0484) was exclusive to the Betty Crocker™ catalog.
- The decal is different on each side and is Gold.
- Below you can view this pitcher in one of Betty Crocker™ sales catalogs.
70th Anniversary Trivet – Pattern No. 8880
- Introduced Winter 2006 and made for 1 year.
- This decal was general release and could be found at multiple retailers.
- This decal is gold and applied to Heather trivets (0443) only.
- They were packaged in specialty marked boxes.
70th Anniversary Monarch Vase – Pattern No. 8885
- Introduced Winter of 2006 and made for 1 year.
- This decal was exclusive to the HLC outlet.
- The decal is gold and applied to Heather monarch vases (0566) only.
- The dancing lady was applied to the side of the vase and the 70th anniversary was applied to the bottom as illustrated.
70th Anniversary Ornament – Pattern No. 5640, 5641
- Introduced Spring 2006 and made for 1 year.
- This decal was general release.
- The decal is gold was applied to Peacock (5640) and Scarlet (5641) ornaments (0761).
70th Anniversary Presentation Bowl – Pattern No. 5675
- Introduced Spring 2006 and made for 1 year only.
- The decal was exclusive to Macy’s.
- The decal is gold and applied to the bottom of Heather presentation bowls (0437). It reads, “Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Fiesta. 1936 – 2006 Exclusively for Macy’s.”
- They were packaged in specialty marked boxes.
70th Anniversary Chop Plate – Pattern No. 5677
- Introduced late Spring 2006 and made for 1 year.
- This decal was exclusive to Dillard’s.
- Colors in this decal are Tangerine, Peacock, and Black.
70th Anniversary ELHSAA Presentation Bowl – Pattern No. 5668
- There were 24 numbered pieces made exclusively for the 2006 ELHSAA Auction.
- This decal is Gold and was applied to Peacock presentation bowls (0437) only.
70th Anniversary Mini Disc Pitcher – Pattern no. 5684
- This pitcher was made for the East Liverpool 2006 Pottery Festival.
- The decal is Gold and was applied to Heather mini disk pitchers (0475) only.
70th Anniversary Lighthouse Ornament – Pattern No. 5759
- Introduced Fall of 2006.
- This ornament (0761) was exclusive to Just Dishes Dinnerware.
- The decal is Black and White and was applied to Sunflower ornaments only.
- If you look at the lighthouse you will notice that there are Fiesta® pieces incorporated into the lighthouse itself. A monarch vase base for the base of the lighthouse. Oval platters and classic rim plates as windows and the top is a Fiesta® lid.
