- Produced in the following colors: Tangerine, Plum, Paprika, Sage and Claret.
- Per the FTC blog (10-7-2021), “To celebrate 150 years of manufacturing, we’re highlighting one of our favorite backstamps from our history: the Lion and Eagle backstamp. The story goes that at the 1876 Centennial Exposition, Homer Laughlin’s American made china was given unanimous approval over the established British potteries. To commemorate this occasion, Mr. Laughlin found an artist who specialized in circus lions, and an artist who specialized in bird drawings, and brought their drawings together to create a backstamp that illustrated the dominance of the American pottery industry.”
