Holiday Fiesta® 1987 Holly Version

- This pattern was a general release and not exclusive to any particular store.
- This pattern was applied to White Fiesta® and can be found in the following shapes: chop plate (0467), dinner plate (0466), salad plate (0464), small cereal bowl (0460) medium cereal bowl (0461) 1 quart serving bowl (0471), cup (0452). saucer (0470), individual sugar (0498), individual creamer (0492), salt and pepper set (0497), bud vase (0490), round candleholder (0488), large disc pitcher (0484), and small disc pitcher (0485).
- Colors used in this pattern are: red, multiple green shades, and black.
Fun Facts –
- This pattern / decal was not designed by HLC. They purchased the decals from a decal supplier in East Liverpool, Ohio.
- The small cereal bowl (0460) was actually called a “candy dish” by HLC.

The original pieces in 1988 : chop plate (0467), dinner plate (0466), salad plate (0464), small cereal bowl (0460), medium cereal bowl (0461), 1 quart serving bowl (0471), cup (0452), saucer (0470), individual sugar (0498), individual creamer (0492), salt and pepper set (0497), bud vase (0490), round candleholder (0488), large disc pitcher (0484), 5 piece place setting (0830), and small disc pitcher (0485).These additional shapes were added in 1993 +/- – : mini pitcher (0475), medium oval platter (0457), large oval platter (0458), and round serving tray (0468).
These additional shapes were added around 2000 +/- – : ring handle mug (0453), the 4 piece place setting (0831).
These additional shapes were added in 2001 +/- – : jumbo mug (0149), jumbo saucer (0293), luncheon plate (0465), sauceboat (0486), large covered teapot (0496), hostess tray (0753), rangetop salt/pepper set (0756), and welled snack plate (0760).
This additional shape was added in 2003 +/- – : sugar, cream and tray set (0821).
This additional shape was added in 2005 +/- – : fruit bowl (0459).
The following shapes did not appear on the retailers order forms until 2007 : bread tray (0412) and spoon rest (0439).
- What’s funny is the trivet (0443) was produced in this pattern, but it never appeared on the retailers order forms.
- You could also purchase this pattern in 4, 5 and 20 piece place settings.
- A carafe is known to exist.
- A 12″ pasta bowl is known to exist.
- Colors used in this pattern are, red and multiple green shades.
- The illustration to the left is a portion of a 2001 retailers price list. Notice how they called the small bowl a “candy dish” on this Holiday Fiesta® order form.
Fun Fact –
- The bud vase, salt and pepper set, and saucer were the same in both the 1987 version and the 1988 version. None were decorated with the decal, they just had the red stripe(s) applied to the piece.
- Each year HLC holds a holiday luncheon for their salary employees and gives them a special gift. These pieces are not produced for the general public, only the salary employees.
- Between 1997 and until about 2019 HLC used this decal for some of their special salary employee pieces.

- This pattern is applied to White Fiesta® and found in the following shapes: tapered mug (1745), small bistro bowl (1479), large bistro bowl (1459), bistro salad plate (1481), bistro buffet plate (0749) and the bistro dinner plate (1480).
- I believe this pattern is just being sold through the factory outlet stores but not their website. I checked Dillard’s website and this pattern was no where to be found. (1-2025).
- Colors in the pattern are: black, different shades of green, and red.
- Like with the 1988 version of Holly and Ribbon between 2020 through 2022 HLC/FTC used this decal for some of their special salary employee pieces.
