Chickadee – Pattern No. 5549

  • Introduced 2005
  • Discontinued 2007 +/-
  • This pattern was exclusive to Amazon.  However, when Amazon decided to discontinued this pattern, Mega China bought out their remaining stock and sold it on their website. 
  • This pattern is applied to White Fiesta® and can be found in the following shapes: ring handle mug (0453), 1 quart bowl (0471), luncheon plate (0465), medium oval platter (0457) and ornament (0761). 
  • Colors in this pattern are: light tan, tan, green, black and Scarlet.

  • Like Amazon’s other  patterns from this same time period, the medium oval platter and 1 quart bowl were sold as a  “2-Piece Vegetable Bowl and Platter Set”.

  • Unlike the Amazon Cardinal pattern the Chickadee ornament was only produced for one year. 

Fun Fact – 

  • The ramekin (0568), large disc pitcher (0485) and hostess tray (0753) were sampled for Amazon, but never went into production.  
  • A ramekin is known to exist in someone’s collection which is illustrated to the right.
