- August 2024 FTC stopped producing this piece in Sunflower, Poppy, Meadow and Twilight.
- The illustration to the left shows the slight difference between the chip bowl (front) and the pasta bowl 12-3/4” (back). The only difference is the raised ring in the base of the bowl where the dip bowl sets.
- The below three illustrations show a Cinnabar mystery bowl. It was bought at a former HLC employee’s estate auction outside Columbus, Ohio prior to 2012.
- Could it have been an early version of the chip bowl? The below last illustration shows the mystery bowl inside a Scarlet chip bowl.
- It measures 10-1/8” diameter x 1-5/8” height and has a date code of “PPA” (2001). (Photos courtesy of Jeff Stout)
- See above (Chip and Dip Set) for color information.
- In 2014 HLC advertised on their blog that they accidentally produced White dip bowls and they sold them through their retail outlet stores. But were they really an accident? Could they have been the overruns/seconds that were from the production of HLC’s 2014 salary employee holiday set?
- The illustration to the right shows a comparison between the dip bowl (left) and a jumbo bowl (right).
