Produced in the following colors – White, Black, Rose, Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Turquoise, Periwinkle Blue, Sea Mist Green, Persimmon, Chartreuse, Pearl Gray, Juniper, Cinnabar, Sunflower, Plum, Shamrock, Tangerine, Scarlet, Peacock, Heather, Evergreen.
It was NOT produced in the following colors – Apricot, Lilac, Sapphire, Ivory and all colors produced after Ivory.
- Evergreen was produced in very low quantity (est. 200-325) and sold exclusively at HLC’s retail outlets.
- Mark Gonzalez references this Cobalt Blue mug in his book, “Collecting Fiesta®. Lu-Ray & Other Colorware” on page 45. In his book he shows a Periwinkle Blue mug and states that this style mug was “made specially for a friend of the Wells” (owners of HLC). The mug is close in size to the pedestal mug as shown in the illustration to the left. It measures about 6 inches tall and has an embossed backstamp as shown in the illustration to the right.
Fun Fact –
- The pedestal mug uses four different embossed pieces (disc pitcher, coffee server, teapot and vase) to wrap the mug. Unlike, the cappuccino mug which uses the same two embossed pieces (coffee server and vase) on both sides.
