Produced in the following colors – White, Black, Rose, Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Turquoise, Periwinkle Blue, Sea Mist Green, Persimmon, Chartreuse, Pearl Gray, Juniper, Cinnabar, Sunflower, Plum.
It was NOT produced in the following colors – Apricot, Lilac, Sapphire, Shamrock and all colors produced after Shamrock.
- Chartreuse and Juniper tripod bowls were sold exclusively through the Mercantile Stores. (Mercantile stores were bought out in 1999 by Dillard’s)
- A very limited number of Plum tripod bowls were produced and sold at HLC retail outlet store.
- This cute little bowl has three little feet. Could that be why it’s called a “tripod” bowl?
- Apricot bowls are known to exist as illustrated to the right.
- Occasionally you will find a “double backstamp” (right) as illustrated to the left. This is when there is an embossed or incised backstamp and then an ink stamp applied as well to the piece. This does not change the value of the piece.
- These bowls were also sold with round candles in a display box as shown in the illustration to the right.
