Baking Bowls – Set of 3

This set consists of the following pieces:
Large, Medium and Small Baking Bowls (see below for specific information)

Solid colored sets were produced in the following colors – White, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise, Sunflower, Shamrock, Tangerine, Scarlet, Peacock, Evergreen, Ivory, Chocolate, Lemongrass, Paprika, Marigold, Flamingo, Lapis, Poppy, Slate, Sage.

They were NOT produced in the following colors – Black, Rose, Apricot, Yellow, Periwinkle Blue, Sea Mist Green, Lilac, Persimmon, Sapphire, Chartreuse, Pearl Gray, Juniper, Cinnabar, Plum, Heather, Claret and all colors produced after Claret.

• These were produced at The Hall China Company, which The Homer Laughlin China Company bought in 2010.
• HLC discontinued production of these bowls in White and Lemongrass to their general retailers effective December 31, 2011. However, they were still available for purchase through HLC’s retail stores. HLC announced in March 2013 that they were taking these bowls totally out of the production line in these two colors.
• The baking bowls are sold in 3-piece sets. When they were first introduced, the sets were all solid colored. HLC saw that their customers wanted mixed colored baking bowl sets. So, on their own website, they gave their customers an option to mix and match the baking bowl colors for those who wanted a mixed colored set of bowls. HLC announced in 2017 that they were introducing two mixed color combination sets (see below). What really surprised me was, HLC also took all the solid colored sets out of production.
• So as of the end of 2023, FTC only makes the following baking bowls: large – Scarlet , medium – Poppy and Sunflower – small and they are only sold in this one  color combo.
• I noticed while researching these pieces, that on the Sky shape sheet dated 12/2023 the baking bowls  have been omitted.
