Produced in the following colors – White, Black, Rose, Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Turquoise, Periwinkle Blue, Sea Mist Green, Persimmon, Pearl Gray, Juniper, Cinnabar, Sunflower, Plum, Shamrock, Tangerine, Scarlet, Peacock, Heather, Evergreen, Ivory, Chocolate, Lemongrass, Paprika, Marigold, Flamingo, Lapis, Poppy, Slate, Sage, Claret, Daffodil, Mulberry, Meadow, Butterscotch, Twilight.
It was NOT produced in the following colors – Apricot, Lilac, Sapphire, Chartreuse, Foundry, Peony and all colors produced after Peony.
- These were produced at both HLC and The Hall China Company (which The Homer Laughlin China Company bought in 2010).
- When the utensil crock was introduced it was exclusive to Betty Crocker. It was later released to all general retailers in 2002.
- HLC announced in March 2013 that this piece would not be available in White, Black, Lemongrass or Plum.
- In April 2017 HLC added Shamrock and Claret to the out of production list. However, in January 2017, HLC announced that they were going to bring back into production White and Lemongrass.
- In March 2019, Shamrock, Ivory and Slate were taken out of the production line up.
- This item was redesigned in 2006 when the production moved over to Hall China. The illustration to the left shows the design differences of version one and two.
- The older version shown on the left was lighter in weight and at the base of the crock, there was a small lip or ridge. The redesigned version (two) is shown on the right. It is much heavier, and the base is straighter.
- Due to sticking issues in the kilns, a newer version was designed and released in December 2019. The illustration to the right shows version 2 (left) and version 3 (right). You can see how the base was redesigned more like the Chevron utensil crocks. (see below)
- The crocks produced at Hall do have the Fiesta® embossed mark on the bottom (center), however, the design is different from the earlier version (left) and the later version (3) (right) as shown in the illustration to the left.
- In the Fall 2005 Betty Crocker mail-order catalog, Betty Crocker advertised a Fiesta® “Extra-large Tool Crock” as shown in the illustration to the left.
- The “Extra-large Tool Crock” was not a special piece produced only for Betty Crocker. It was the base of the large canister without the lid as illustrated to the right.

- This piece is actually the base to the Chevron medium canister.
In the 8-8-2023 shape sheet FTC notes that this piece would only be produced in the following colors – White, Turquoise, Scarlet, Lapis, Daffodil, Peony, and Jade.
With the introduction of Sky in 2024, it was added to the production line up making 8 colors available
