  • Sapphire shakers are known to exist as illustrated to the right. A set sold at Strawser Auctions in March 2016 for $475.00. A Sapphire salt shaker by itself sold at Strawser Auctions in March 2017 for $300.00.  At the November 2022 auction a set sold for $650.00 + buyers premium. (Photo courtesy of Strawser Auctions)
  • Raspberry shakers are also know to exist as illustrated to the right.  A set sold in November 2022 at Strawser Auctions for $1,500.00 + buyers premium.  (Photo courtesy of Strawser Auctions)
  • Vintage shakers are a little taller and rounder. Both Vintage shakers had seven holes, however, the pepper shaker had smaller holes than the salt. Amberstone/Casualstone/Fiesta® Ironstone shakers had six and seven holes like the Post 86 shakers.
  • These two illustrations show the Vintage shaker (right) which measures 2-3/8″ diameter x 2-3/4″ height. Amberstone/Casualstone/Fiesta® Ironstone shaker (left) which measures 2-3/8” diameter x 2-3/4” height. (Amberstone not shown)
    Post 86 in the center.
  • The illustration to the right shows the base of the three shakers. All have dry feet, but the Amberstone/Casualstone/Fiesta® Ironstone and Vintage shakers have cork stoppers, where the Post 86 shakers are made of rubber.
  • The illustration to the right shows the Hall, Post 86 and Kitchen Kraft shakers side by side. Hall and Kitchen Kraft shakers often get confused with the Fiesta® ones.
  • Hall shaker (left) measures 2-5/8” diameter x 3” height.
  • Kitchen Kraft shaker (right) measures 3-3/16” diameter X 2-7/8” height.
(Thank you, Ronda Wells, for the use of your Hall and Kitchen Kraft shakers)
  • In the mid to late 1990’s, HLC wanted to expand the Fiesta® brand, so they contracted with outside companies to produce official Fiesta® licensed products.
  • Sometime in the late 1990’s to early 2000’s Copco, one of these licensees, manufactured an old fashion styled wood salt and stainless-steel pepper grinder set in two different sizes. Please excuse the quality of the pictures, as these are old pictures that I had from an older camera. It will give you an idea of what they looked like. I remember the tall set (right) measured about 10 inches in height. The smaller set (left) was about half the size of the tall set.
