- In 1997, Kathy Lynne started making lamps using Fiesta® carafes and later expanded to the 2 cup teapots. Her lamps were marked on the bottom with “©KLC”. (Below photos courtesy of Kathy Bushart)
- Kathy stated the following about her Carafe lamps, “The following quantities and colors were made: rose 11, chartreuse 10 – one of these was made with permission for the FCOA convention in 1998, seamist 16, periwinkle blue 15, sapphire 20, persimmon 26, turquoise 18, apricot 6. There were also a few carafe lamps made with my Fiesta® cow on it – looks like 7 of those. There were also some lamps and shades made that were exclusive for conventions and/or clubs… The majority of the lamps were signed and dated 1997 and 1998, but it does look like I made a few in 1999.”
- The illustration to the left shows a rare Vintage Fiesta® syrup in a Maroon glaze. This was auctioned at Strawser Auctions March 2020 and sold for $1,600.00 + buyer’s premium.
