- The illustration to the left shows the hole in the base of the flower pot for drainage.
- When these were being produced, buyers would mistakenly purchase a flower pot underplate for a Fiesta® salad plate in HLC’s outlets seconds room.

- I found it interesting while researching these, that they have not appeared on the Fiesta® shape sheets since they were introduced in 2019.
- Some collectors use these as tumblers.
- Known to exist in Sunflower, Butterscotch and Twilight. ??? Could there have been another color combo in the making ????
- Sky single pots were sold at the FTC retail outlet store in May 2024 during the FTCCO conference. These were overruns from one of the
clubs giveaway’s for their conference.
- Some independent retailer sold the planter sets with a small bread tray as illustrated to the right.
Fun Fact –
- HLC experimented with the idea of making the flower pots back in 2015 (more or less). A few of these smaller scale prototypes were auctioned off at the 2015 HLCCA conference. Greg Crocker was the lucky winner of four of these prototypes in the following Fiesta® glazes, Plum, Sunflower, Cobalt Blue, and Cinnabar.
- The current version and these prototypes look the same except the prototypes have drainage holes drilled in the bottom. (Prototype photos courtesy of Greg Crocker)
