It was NOT produced in the following colors – Black, Rose, Apricot, Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Periwinkle Blue, Sea Mist Green, Lilac, Persimmon, Sapphire, Chartreuse, Pearl Gray, Juniper, Cinnabar, Plum, Tangerine, Heather, Evergreen, Ivory, Chocolate, Marigold, Paprika, Flamingo, Slate, Sage, Foundry.

• These were sold exclusively at Belk department stores and their websites. When these were originally released, they were “a special and exclusive gift to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Belk”.
• Lapis boxes were first available for sale at HLC’s retail outlet store in April 2014 in very limited quantities. However, Belk’s added Lapis boxes to their color line up mid-July/early August 2015.
• Poppy boxes were mistakenly sold during a 2015 HLC tent sale in very limited quantities. An employee realized when someone was checking out with some, that the boxes should not have been included in that sale. No one knows how many were actually sold before the bin was pulled from the tent after the error was caught. I don’t know if the boxes were first or second quality, but they sure were nice. Those Poppy boxes brought premium prices (from $75 up to $300) on the secondary market. The summer of 2016, Belk’s announced that they would be offering Poppy boxes on their website. Can you imagine how the people who paid $75 to $300 for one of the tent sale boxes felt when they heard Belk’s would be offering the boxes for sale for their everyday price of $24.99 to $26.99?
• When this item was first release Belk’s called it the “Square Covered Box”.  When FTC released this to general retailers in the spring of 2021 the name changed to “Covered Box”.  Collector’s reference this item as a “Belk’s Box”.
