- This coaster was given to business clientele who attended the special reveal of the newest color at HLC’s Atlanta America’s Mart showroom in January 2017.

- The Mulberry coaster was given to business clientele who attended the special reveal of the newest color at HLC’s Atlanta America’s Mart showroom in January 2018 at HLC’s Atlanta America’s Mart showroom.
- Some members of the July 2018 HLCCA (Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association) conference were lucky to win a Mulberry coaster as a Saturday night banquet table give away.
- Slate embossed coasters were also sold at FTC’s retail outlet store.
- In March 2020, the HLCCA (Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association) announced that they would have the remaining colors exclusively.
- In the illustration to the right, you can see that the Mulberry coaster (left) did not have any type of backstamp. Some of the other colors with the embossed “Fiesta®” will have the HLCCA backstamp as illustrated to the right.

It was NOT produced in the following colors – Black, Rose, Apricot, Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Periwinkle Blue, Sea Mist Green, Lilac, Persimmon, Sapphire, Chartreuse, Pearl Gray, Juniper, Cinnabar, Plum, Shamrock, Peacock, Heather, Evergreen, Marigold, Chocolate, Paprika, Flamingo, Sage, Foundry and Claret.
Mixed sets which consisted of 6 different glazed coasters were sold through the FTC website.

- These are numbered on the back as illustrated to the right. They were limited to 400 in each color.
- The above designs were not the first of the coaster designs. An earlier version which measures about 3-1/2” diameter was tested in the mid 1990’s.
- They are known to exist in Periwinkle, Sapphire and Persimmon

- I found it very interesting that each coaster design has a different style back.

- Where the Mulberry looks almost like a plate with the dry foot (unglazed) and rings inside the dry foot.
- Was the design department trying to design the latest versions of the coaster after the Bistro style plates? It sure has the same shape/style.
Fun Fact –
- In late 2022 – FTC gave away to customers who went on a factory tour these cute decorated coasters as illustrated to the right.

- These were produced in the following Terrace colors – Natural, Aqua, Gray, Pink, Citrus and Foundry.
