  • These were produced at The Hall China Company, which The Homer Laughlin China Company bought in 2010.
  • Foundry skillets were added to the line in 2016.
  • In March 2019, Shamrock, Ivory and Slate were taken out of the production line up.
  • When the skillets were first introduced, the back stamp on the left was used. However, so that customers would understand that these could not be used directly on the stove, HLC changed the backstamp to the version on the right which added, “Warning Do Not Use On Stove Top”.
  • When Fiesta® was reintroduced in 1986, this item was not part of the Fiesta® line, it was part of the HLC foodservice line. Occasionally HLC would glaze various restaurant ware shapes for their commercial customers in Fiesta® color glazes. The overruns, or seconds, would then be sold at HLC’s retail outlet store. Hence the “Fiesta Mate” name was adopted.
  • This piece was redesigned and moved over to the Fiesta® line in 2016, but the originally designed piece was still available to HLC’s commercial customers as a foodservice item.
  • To help distinguish between the two, just look for the rings inside the skillet and the backstamp.  The foodservice skillet will NOT have the center rings as shown in the illustration to the left.
  • Chocolate skillet’s were produced in the foodservice line but not in the Fiesta® line.
