Betty Crocker – Ladybug

Ladybug – Pattern Number (see below)

  • These two designs were introduced in 2005 and was exclusively designed for Betty Crocker / General Mills.
  • It was only in production for about one to two years as Betty Crocker closed their retails sales catalog and website in 2006.

Pattern Number: 5487 (?) still researching

  • Design number one is illustrated to the left.  
  • It was produced on Scarlet and can be found in the following shapes: 15″ pizza/baking tray, (0505), classic rim dinner plate (0466), classic rim luncheon plate (0465), classic rim chop plate (0467), 14 oz small cereal bowl (0460), 19 oz medium cereal bowl (0461), and large disc pitcher (0484)

Pattern Number:  researching

  • Design number two is illustrated to the right.
  • It was produced on Scarlet and can be found in the following shapes: classic rim 1 quart bowl (0471), tumbler (0446), bread tray (0412), monarch vase (0566) and mug (0453).
  • Betty Crocker also offered a four piece place setting. 
  • In 2005 when this set was introduced it consisted of the following shapes: classic rim dinner and luncheon plate, small 14 oz cereal bowl and mug.
  • In 2006 they changed out the 14 oz small cereal bowl to the 19 oz medium cereal bowl.  
  • The illustrations to either side are from the Betty Crocker Fall 2005 catalog showcasing the Ladybug collection.

Fun Fact –

  • Accidents happen even at the factory.  The Ladybug decal was mistakenly applied to Sunflower instead of Scarlet mugs as illustrated to the right.
