Red Bow – Pattern No. 8925

  • This pattern was introduced in 2007 and exclusive to JC Penney department store.
  • It can be found in the following shape: 12′′ pizza tray (0575).
  • Thank you to Rod Wilson (dinomitestuff) for the use of his photo.
  • In the JC Penney ad (right) it shows the design on a Scarlet pizza tray with a white decal not a White pizza tray with a red decal as was sold.
  • The ad called this a 12″ bow serve platter, while the factory box it shipped in called it plate pizza 12′′.
  • The sticker on this item calls the design “Red Bow Pizza Tray” as illustrated below.

Fun Facts –

  • In the illustration to the left, you will notice a Scarlet pizza tray and a classic salad plate with a White bow design.   
  • It appears JC Penney or HLC changed the design to a White pizza tray at some time between the prototype being produced and the tray actually going into production.  
  • Note – the classic rim salad plate was never produced.
